Cash Prizes For You

In recognition of the dedication, sacrifice and call to duty to defend our country by the members of our military, and as part of our 2008 AK 10K Classic Road Race, funds has been donated specifically as prize money for active members of the U.S. military who enter and complete this year’s race. These sponsoring organizations are thanked for supporting this program and generously donating prize money.

This is the second year for this program. Last year $2,200.00 was donated for this purpose and distributed by drawing to 11 active members of the military.

All active military entrants will be assigned special numbers at the bib and t-shirt pickup and free pasta feed at Platinum Jaxx on Thursday, July 31, 4PM to 7PM, or prior to the race on Saturday, August 2, 830 to 930AM. After the race, during the awards ceremonies, these numbers will be entered into a series of approximately 15 drawings for $150 or more each. You must be present to win.
